I Love It!, It is awesome! Small, compact and long battery life (used Duracell batteries). It is easy to use, easy to upload and very easy to securely share with Flip Channel. I bought because of the price….turns out to be a wonderful buy!

Pocket Videocam, I am not a director and have no ambitions in that direction, but I wanted to take VideoCAM high school reunion. After watching videos of other people's opinions about Ultra, I decided that little jewel.
After taking a few videos from the house and garden (for practice), I was able to put together this little movie! The picture quality and sound is incredible! We did something pretty good. Now, keep in mind, this is not a professional camera - but I am not a professional director, but for the adoption of children, videos, etc, this is a great little camera.

Good Buy, This camera works great - excellent video quality when used in most situations.
The color is surprisingly accurate.
One big annoyance is that after you activate the fader and start recording, you have to re-activate it while recording in order to fade out.
I would recommend this camcorder to a friend.
Since the AVCHD/.mts format is not very well supported, I use Mediacoder (free) to transcode from .mts to AVI(huffyuv/mp3). This takes up lots of space but preserves quality and you can edit in pretty much any software–I use Windows Movie Maker for now.

Excellent Camera In Good Light, I used this camera about 2 months and took a couple of trips and used by myself and children. Its well built and easy to use with one hand. Its light, but not too light. I mainly used the FX + mode, and achieve excellent image quality, over an hour on a 16GB SDHC card, however, I had problems with the latest SD and C10 were returned using C4 and C6 SDHC cards, and these work well in Max bitrate (24Mbps). Not much used the ability to shoot still photos while simultaneously capturing video - The image that I recently took are OK, but I have a Nikon DSLR for that purpose. It is a light for shooting in low light, but not very useful. It would have been more useful if Canon has included a shoe for mounting an external source of light better. While the video image quality is excellent in good lighting, is rather disappointing in low light. With the life of the battery on the battery cable, about 1, I would also recommend the purchase or Canon BP-819 Lithium Ion Battery Pack for HF10 and HF100 camcorders and Canon BP-827 Lithium Ion Battery Pack for Vixia HG 20/21, HF11/10 Camcorders & 100, are larger and stick a little 'back, but makes the device much more usable.
